Our day will begin with a tour of the Long Grove Confectionary Factory Tour located in Buffalo Grove. This is a one hour walking tour. At the end of the tour, you will receive a sample of their chocolate and have a little time to purchase other items in their factory store if you choose. We will then head to lunch at First Draft, located in Grayslake, where we will have a buffet lunch. Our last stop will be University Center in Lake County for the presentation, The Making of I Love Lucy. You will learn how this classic T.V. show was created, and delve into the life stories of Lucy, Desi and cast members, Vivian Vance and William Frawley, and of course, the famous candy factory scene. Fee includes transportation, tour, lunch and presentation.
