Active Adult programs for adults ages 60 are organized out of the Oakton Community Center's Lounge. The overall program features drop-in programs, exercise classes, Wednesday movies, card clubs, seasonal parties, health and wellness fairs, shopping trips, lunch and dinner outings, day trips, vacation getaways and more.

The Park District offers a variety of FREE drop-in programs for Active Adults (60 ) at the Oakton Community Center.

Monday
Mah Jong Club: 12–3 p.m.
Movie & Popcorn: 1 p.m.

Tuesday
Mah Jong Club: 10:30 a.m.–3 p.m.
Oakton Chess Club: 6–8:30 p.m.

Wednesday
Board Games: 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

Thursday
Mah Jong Club: 10:30 a.m.–3 p.m.

Friday
Laramie Bridge Club: 13:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Additional free programs are available seasonally.

The lounge at Oakton Community Center is available to members only. Membership offers unlimited use of the Lounge, during Lounge hours, by reservation, a $10 annual program voucher to use toward active adult exercise, parties or trips at the Oakton Center, and free movie and popcorn Mondays.
