Get a break from the cold weather with Open Swim!
Open Swim will be held on Sundays from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Niles North High School.
Please enter through Door 21, the Athletic Entrance. Participants may pay the $5 open swim fee at the door. Cash or check are acceptable forms of payment for this program. Lap lanes will be available.
Open Swim will conclude for the season on May 3 and resume this fall.
The Skokie Park District offers private and semi-private swim lessons for all ages.
A Private Lesson request form for summer 2026 will be posted to this page on June 1.
For aquatics enthusiasts, the park district offers two outdoor summer pools. The Skokie Water Playground features five giant slides, a sprayground, an interactive multi-level play area, lap lanes, locker rooms with showers, and a concession stand. The Devonshire Aquatic Center features a lap pool with zero-depth entry, a diving board, a drop slide, a sprayground, locker rooms and shower facilities, a sun hill, and a concession stand. Multi-use pool passes are available for both pools.
