Develop your body, mind and spirit, as you combine yoga postures with deep breathing and awareness, and experience increased energy, flexibility and peace. No prior yoga experience required. No class 11/29

Students will learn the fundamentals and basics of cheerleading, learning four to five cheers each week, as well as formations, and poms/dance choreography. The last day of class will be a parent watch day, with short student performances.

Under the creative direction of Chicago Loves Dance, students will learn the fundamentals and basics of breakdancing. The last class we will invite parents to watch a dance performance!

Learn the basic positions of ballet and have fun dancing and singing along in this beginning level class run by Chicago Loves Dance.

We’ll tackle creative projects like a detailed gumball machine, a mouthwatering sandwich, and a dazzling Egyptian headdress that’ll whisk your artist back in time. A fall-themed illustration will introduce them to warm and cool color theory. Young Rembrandts classes bring fresh, exciting projects like a globetrotting koala, a video game-inspired still life, and a playful nutcracker. We’ll even create a silly squid dressed as a holiday tree! With every lesson, your child will enhance their art skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and self-expression. Develop your child’s intellect through the royal game of chess! Current research has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance in a variety of areas, including mathematics and language arts. Chess has been proven to enhance a child’s motivation, concentration, focus, social skills, and creativity. Each class will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will learn under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach. No class 11/26 & 11/29

This class will ignite the imaginations of young writers, foster their love for language, and cultivate their creative expression. Through exploration of classic literature, inspiring writing exercises, creative language games and collaboration, students will explore different genres, learn and practice grammatical concepts, develop their writing skills, and build confidence in their ability to communicate effectively

This exciting program together elements of science, art and math in a hands-on, action-packed environment! Students will conduct experiments, play educational games, and unlock their creativity through building challenges and projects. No experience necessary!
