The Skokie Park District’s 9-hole Weber Park Golf Course will open on Friday, May 1, with all players expected to observe the State of Illinois COVID-19 guidelines that have been set in place.

Golfers must sign-up for tee times in advance by calling (847) 674-1500, ext. 3600. Sign up begins Wednesday, April 29. Players will also be expected to follow posted social distancing and other guidelines.

“We are excited that golf is back in Skokie during this extraordinary time,” said Skokie Park District golf manager Rich Lee. “The course is in great shape and we expect that players will enjoy playing a round or two, even with the tighter guidelines that we have put into place.”

As part of his latest COVID-19 order, Governor Pritzker announced that golf courses could open on May 1, with strict social distancing guidelines in place.

Weber Park Golf Course is a 9-hole, par-3 golf course featuring bent grass greens and beautiful landscaping. The course is ideal for beginning golfers or for more advanced golfers looking for a quick hour on the course or work on their short game.

Tee times at the course may be made from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (No walk ins.)

Across town, Skokie Sports Park and its golf range will remain closed until further notice, as will all other Skokie Park District facilities.
