"The Miracle Worker" set to play at the Skokie Heritage Museum

The Skokie Heritage Museum and Devonshire Playhouse proudly present "The Miracle Worker," the award-winning classic featuring the true story of blind and deaf Helen Keller's volatile relationship with the teacher that finally rescues her from a dark, tortured silence.

Performances: Fridays & Saturdays, September 8, 9, 15 & 16 at 6:30 p.m. (Log Cabin Tour and refreshments, followed by the show at 7 p.m.)

Tickets: $9 to $10. Available at the Devonshire Cultural Center.
