Skokie's Backlot Bash is back this summer, and we have the lowdown on every band, the carnival midway, and every attraction during the three-day downtown Skokie festival!

Independent rockers Lucky Boys confusion will headline the three-day downtown street festival on Saturday, the weekend of August 28-30. Friday night will feature Rod Tuffcurls & The Benchpress. On Sunday, Tributosaurus will become Santana.

Lucky Boys Confusion formed in 1997 in DuPage County and went national with Elektra Records in the early '00s. Local session musicians Tributosaurus will become Santana, with a set showcasing the decades-spanning career of guitar superstar, Carlos Santana. Rod Tuffcurls & The Benchpress is known for a humorous, entertaining pop spin on everything from The Beatles to Madonna to Dave Matthews Band.

The Bash will also host a huge carnival midway, a large beer tent, the Backlot Dash 5K Run and Half Mile Youth Color Fun Run, a bingo tent, events at the Skokie Heritage Museum, an art fair, movies at the public library, food vendors –– and on Sunday, a farmer's market and the Rotary Pancake Breakfast, featuring a bloody mary & mimosa bar.
