Solar panel installation has been completed at the Skokie Park District's Park Services Center. The 100 panel, 55 kWh system was installed on a newer roof section over the vehicle and equipment garage at the facility.

The Park Services Center is the seventh facility at the district to have panels installed. Other facilities include Emily Oaks Nature Center, the Devonshire Aquatic Center, the Weber Leisure Center, Skokie Water Playground, the Devonshire Cultural Center and the Skatium Ice Arena.
