School Days Off

This camp focuses on a variety of sports including flag football, basketball, baseball, kickball, soccer, capture the flag, and other group games. Each day campers focuses on skill development and fundamentals, followed by game play. Coaches ensure a fun and energetic atmosphere while promoting teamwork and good sportsmanship.

Players will learn the fundamentals of volleyball through fun and active drills. Daily scrimmages will allow players to use these skills in a game environment. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.

Campers will improve their basketball fundamentals (dribbling, passing, rebounding, shooting and defense), learn advanced skills, and enhance their teamwork. Campers will be divided into groups based on age, size and ability.

During these three, fun-filled days, young chefs and artists will join forces to cook up one of the tastiest workshops yet. Kids will learn to illustrate the thing we all love to do –– eat! Students will draw, decorate, build and color everything in the kitchen that relates to cooking and baking. Drawings will include funny kitchen cartoons, detailed still life scenes and delicious details. Prepare for artwork that looks good enough to eat! One of the first Wednesdays of the month is an early dismissal for District 65 schools. We will head to the nature center for an afternoon of hikes, exploration, crafts, and games. Transportation provided for Walker Elementary students. The class will take place outdoors. Note: September's Day off is a full day!
