Join the Skokie Police Department at their National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 5–9 p.m. at the Skokie Park District's Oakton Park, 4701 Oakton St.

"National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live," said Sergeant John Moersfelder. "This fits in well with Village of Skokie's "Many Cultures, One Community – Keeping Skokie Safe" theme."

The event will feature:

  • A Flight for Life Helicopter Landing
  • Music & Dancing
  • Food & Games
  • McGruff the Crime Dog
  • Police Department K-9 & Vehicles
  • Dunk Tank
  • Fire Trucks
  • Bounce House
  • Book Mobile
  • Dunkin' Donuts Sampling Truck

Last year crowds were estimated around 2,700 despite the rain, and this year we hope more than 3,000 residents will attend.  Don’t miss this fun-filled evening!
