thinice_logo_black-blue_thinner-ice_horizontal_black_on_invisible_bkgdThe Devonshire Cultural Center theatre program includes Thin Ice Ensemble Homeschool Theatre classes and shows.

These children's programs are loosely based on conservatory-style theatre education presented in many leading dramatic institutions. The programs contain wonderful elements of acting and musical theatre and a comprehensive curriculum.

All students will also learn cooperation and social interaction skills, discover self-confidence and creativity within themselves –– all while having fun and making friends.

Nature Writing

Let’s observe, imagine, and express our experience with nature through writing, journaling, and a bit of art. We will develop our descriptive and creative writing skills while we mindfully reflect on the natural world around us. Winter is a great season to sharpen our observational skills and deepen our appreciation for this “quiet season” of our year. Instructor: Cheryl Yenter
