Experience the deep calm of restorative yoga. Support and slowly open the body to improve bodily awareness, mindfulness, and rest. There are no standing poses in this type of yoga; participants are fully supported in a nest of bolster pillows, blocks, and blankets. Each session includes 3-5 restorative poses, pranayama (yoga breathing), and a progressive muscle relaxation meditation. Instructor: Victoria Biel.
Class runs weekly from Nov. 6 through Dec. 18. No class on Nov. 27.
Drop-in option available ($26 resident / $33 non-resident) as space permits once minimum enrollment is met.
Ages 16 and up. Fee: $150 (resident) / $188 (non-resident).
