Sculpted by the last glacial period more than 10,000 years ago, Glacial Park in McHenry County is covered with rolling woodlands, wetland hollows, and two remarkable glacial deposits or kames that overlook Nippersink Creek. Leisurely three to four-mile hike with a stop at Stades Farm and Market to pick apples. Fee includes a half peck bag of apples. Transportation provided.
For adults ages 18 and up.
