Join the Skokie Police at Oakton Park for family-friendly entertainment, food vendors, games, music, dancing, children's activities, and giveaways, as well as demonstrations, public-safety displays, community organizations and local businesses.

- Sophie Hafer & Zach Avery from “Revelator: Tribute to Tedeschi Trucks Band singing the National Anthem with the Skokie Police Department Honor Guard, followed by tribute music
- Reptile Presentation by Badgerland Reptile Rescue (affiliate of an exotic animal hospital in town)
- SPD Drone Demonstration
- Magic Show by Mike DiDomenico
- Jesse White and Tumblers
- Community Dance with Kaleidoscope Dance (local dance business)
Skokie Police will also have the new Electric Chevrolet police vehicle on display. A DJ will be present for the duration of the event. Attendees can dunk a variety of police personnel in a dunk tank, do a police obstacle course, pitch baseballs with an officer using one of our handheld radars to check their pitching speed, and receive a keepsake “Community Fun Notice”, face/arm painting, and balloon twist art. The Chicago Transit Authority will also join the Skokie Police this year with free mini-train rides!
The Skokie Park District will provide free hot dogs, chips, and water, while supplies last. Hot dogs will include Halal and veggie, as well as Kosher, grilled and overseen by Lubavitch Chabad Skokie.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
