Meet other hikers while experiencing the best local hiking trails. You’ll be led on a morning hike at a different natural area each week within a 30-minute drive. Hikes are moderately paced to ensure the full enjoyment of the surrounding natural world. This is a great opportunity to socialize, exercise and enjoy the wonders of winter outdoors. Start at Emily Oaks with transportation by passenger van; participants can meet the group at the trailhead instead, if desired.
This Hiking Club event is at Skokie River Forest Preserve and Oriole Grove Forest Preserve in Lake Forest.
For adults ages 18 and up.
