During our 90-minute guided tour at Yerkes Observatory in William Bay, Wisconsin, the guides will discuss the history and architecture of the Observatory, the famous astronomers who worked here and the ongoing restoration of this iconic landmark. The Space & Spaces tour is an award-winning experience. The tour visits the largest refracting telescope in the world in the Big Dome, the historic libraries, the architectural splendor of the Hagenah Rotunda, and the exquisite mentation of the observatory’s exterior. This tour involves stairs and a lot of walking and there is NO elevator. Fee includes transportation, the tour, and lunch.
