Playing and learning is the mission of the early childhood program at the Weber Leisure. While your small child is in our care, he or she will take part in sports, preschool, science, and art-sports hybrid offerings. Set your mind at ease when dropping your child off at Weber; our classes offer a range of times and days, as well as creative play while learning.

Please note that while classes may display below as available, registration does not open until the following dates:
•  Winter: December 15 for residents, December 22 for non-residents
•  Spring: March 15 for residents, March 22 for non-residents
•  Summer: May 15 for residents, May 22 for non-residents
•  Fall: August 15 for residents, August 22 for non-residents

Lil Leaguers Baseball: Rookies

The Rookies program is designed to progress children through their early baseball experience. Simple skills acquired in the Juniors division are reinforced and other aspects of the game are introduced in a fun and supportive environment. Fielding, throwing, catching, and hitting are focused on each week, with the aim to introduce players to a controlled scrimmage by the end of the session. Players of all skill sets will be able to participate and learn the great game of baseball! Players should bring their own gloves, helmets and bats will be provided.

Lil Leaguers Baseball: Pros

The Pros program builds on skills and rules learned in the Rookies class and also introduces more fundamental techniques and basic rules. Fielding, Hitting, Throwing, and Catching are focused on each week, with more emphasis on body mechanics and control. Players will be introduced to simulated game play and use competitive skill games to test their ability to react to game like situations in a fun and accessible environment. Players of all skill sets will be able to participate and learn the great game of baseball! Players should bring their own gloves, helmets and bats will be provided.
