Elijah McLaughlin is a professional music educator with more than 15 years of experience teaching both acoustic and electric guitar across a broad range of styles and genres of music. His lessons are tailored to the interests and goals of each client. Elijah has experience teaching all age/experience levels on the guitar.

Elijah is a Chicago-based guitarist known for his inventive and exploratory approach to instrumental composition. Critics have described the sound of the Elijah McLaughlin Ensemble as "daringly original", yet also evoking the work of past guitar masters such as Robbie Basho, Jack Rose, and Bert Jansch. Drawing inspiration from Minimalism, Jazz, Indian Classical Music, the Blues, and various Folk Music traditions, The Elijah McLaughlin has emerged as a singular voice within the contemporary landscape of avant-string music.
