Emily Oaks Book Club

Discuss engaging nature-themed book with others. The group meets around a campfire, weather-permitting, or indoors. September: "The Serviceberry" by Robin Wall Kimmerer explores the serviceberry's relationship with the natural world as an embodiment of reciprocity, interconnectedness, and gratitude. The tree distributes its wealth—its abundance of sweet, juicy berries—to meet the needs of its natural community. October: "The River's Daughter" by Bridget Crocker reveals how the rivers she braved also guided her toward healing and strength. This unforgettable odyssey is a testament to nature’s power to transform and inspire.
