Ages: 8-9 (must be 8 years old by 9/1/2016)
Location: Emily Oaks Nature Center
In order to become an experienced Earth Traveler, your child will learn how to paddle a canoe, pitch a tent, build a fire, and cook a meal outdoors. Cookouts are held weekly and a campout at Emily Oaks is scheduled each session. Earth Travelers will also participate in fun activities that help them understand how living things interact in their natural communities and will play games that guide them in developing teamwork skills and good environmental habits. Fee includes recreational swimming, field trips, cookout supplies, canoeing instruction, one campout, and beverages. Note: Although program content for the camp changes every year, the content is the same for Sessions 1 and 2.
